The Design &Geometric soul of Ganpala.

Detrás de cada objeto que habitamos hay una historia de transformación. En Ganpala, esa historia no comienza en el movimiento fluido de un torno, sino en la resistencia calculada de una placa de barro.

Today I want to open the doors of my workshop to tell you how technical rigour becomes utilitarian art.

Slab building

Slab building is a technique that requires patience, geometry and absolute respect for the times of mud. The process begins by stretching the clay to a millimetre and uniform thickness. Each wall of the piece is cut individually and must reach the perfect "leather state": neither too wet so that it does not deform, nor too dry so that it does not crack.

Joining these plates is a scale architectural work. Each edge is textured and sealed with a sling, creating invisible but structurally indestructible joints. This technique gives me a freedom that the lathe does not allow, achieving straight lines, clean angles and the avant-garde symmetry that defines my pieces of Art Deco influence.

Designed to last for generations

Aesthetics loses its purpose if it does not survive time. Therefore, in Ganpala I work exclusively with high temperature mud, baked at more than 1200 °C.

The clay and enamels are completely vitrified. This means that the pores are permanently closed, making the pieces, This means:

Totally waterproof

Suitable for microwaves and dishwashers

Resistant to thermal shock and daily use

You are not only holding a decorative object; you are holding a new stone, recreated by fire.

Ganpala on your table

My goal is that the sophistication of the 1920s and the durability of high temperature transform your daily rituals. That a cup is not just a container, but a reminder that beauty and utility can coexist in perfect balance.

Cada vez que usas una pieza de Ganpala, te conectas con horas de diseño, precisión técnica y un profundo amor por el oficio cerámico. Gracias por valorar el tiempo y la ingeniería que hay detrás de lo hecho a mano.
